Sprite products have a history of meeting and exceeding NSF Standard 177 for shower filters. Plastic filter housings come with a 1 Year Limited Warranty while filter housings made from brass come with a 5 Year Limited Warranty. Disposable plastic housings have a 6 Month Limited Warranty. Please note that “Chrome”, “Oil Rubbed Bronze”, “Polished Brass”, etc. are finishes and not the material the unit is made from.

LIMITED U.S. WARRANTY

Sprite Industries warrants the shower filter housing only (not the cartridge) to be free of defects for a period, dependent upon the type of unit, when used under normal operating conditions. Filter housings made of plastic are warrantied for a period of one (1) year. Disposable plastic units are warrantied for a period of six (6) months. Filter housings made of brass are warrantied for a period of five (5) years. At the time of purchase, it is the owner’s responsibility to complete the product warranty information and submit to Sprite Industries within 15 days of purchase, to keep proof of purchase of the unit and all replacement cartridge(s), and to demonstrate that proper cartridge replacement and filter maintenance was performed as specified in the owner’s instructions.

The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any product that has been submitted to: Abuse, neglect, over-tightening, lack of or improper periodic filter replacement, repaired or altered by anyone other than an authorized Sprite Industries service representative, and will VOID the warranty in its entirety.

This is exclusive remedy and liability for consequential damages. There are no other warranties, expressed or implied, limited to the extent permitted by law.

Consumers may return merchandise to Sprite Industries Inc. for repair or replacement only.

  • Prior authorization is required to initiate the warranty process. To obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #), please call 800-327-9137 for fastest service or contact us via e-mail. Please include your return authorization number on or inside the box.
  • Valid proof of purchase must be provided to receive service under warranty. Accepted documents include:
    • Copy of Sales Receipt/Invoice from original place of purchase
    • Sprite’s record of Warranty Registration
  • Sprite will provide a pre-paid UPS return label when returning an item under warranty. Outside of warranty the charges will be paid by the customer.

  • Please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for processing and testing.
  • If the filter housing undergoes laboratory testing a report will accompany the item outlining the methodology and results.
  • Sprite Industries will notify the consumer in writing should the customer’s return for repair or replacement not be covered under the expressed warranty period.
    • A detailed explanation will state the company’s position for denying warranty repair or replacement. Reasons for denial include:
      • Customer Abuse (use of shut off valve between universal housing and head, over-tightening, failure to change cartridge, etc.)
      • Missing Parts
      • Damaged in Transit
    • Customer will be notified with an estimate to repair units not covered under warranty.
